Let me remind you that in this nation we do not rely on natural resources like other rich nations. We solely rely on our economy and production. Therefore who riches and the money used by our government comes directly from our tax money. I do not see why the government should SUPPLY health care to everyone with other people money. Mind you i do not have health insurance so you would think i fell in the category of supporters. yet i do not.
because in reality the main problem is greed and cost, but as usual our government instead of facing the real issue and fight it tries to find a way around it and do a patch work instead. and there is only one simple reason to that … because every single politician has at least one hand in some lobbyist or great health company's pocket. and everybody knows that you do not bite the hand that feeds you.

The only problem with our health care system is the wait lists and we don’t have all the funding that you guys do. The system is supported by tax dollars and government supplementation not rich people making generous ‘donations’ for their own means.

The US population is way larger; in addition, Canada has much stricter immigration policies than the US.
@darrenhol Danny Williams is all the evidence anyone needs to blow your stories out of the water. I spoke to a guy in NYC whose parents live in Toronto and he travels to canada just to fight with his parents doctors to get them treatment for diabetes. He flew both his parents to NYC and took them to nyu for full physicals and to adjust their medication. Yes, (I read it all) I admire Ron Paul and many of his ideas are fresh and exciting. I do not, however, feel he is an electable person. I felt the same way about another candidate that ran as a 3rd party a few yrs ago (Perot).
Both of these men 'should' have been President but with an unthinking, brainwashed by Liberal teachers public school educated electorate combined with a Media that has lost their values and do not report truth – there was and is no chance in my mind. But I also thought that Forbes and Romney should have been President, too.
I do think we should kick every politician out of office and elect from people that are successful in business, have a moral code and a work ethic, an understanding of economics and finance.
I don't see that happening.
What I see happening is America going to her knees with Obama's financial burden laid on her and his shaming of her world-wide, his price setting and socialization that is losing more jobs every day, then will come the fuel and food shortages, angry people out of work, food and fuel will riot. Then he can declare Martial Law and then he can move right in to the dictator seat or throne if Michelle prefers.
