Help answer the question about health life

Can I have my exwife on my Health and life insurance policy?
My wife and I are getting a no default divorce here in PA. We have a one year old child. I currently have her and my child on my health and life insurance policies. For the sake of my daughter, would I be able to keep my wife and daughter on the policies at least until my daughter is 18? I do not mind paying for my wife, as she can barely afford one of her own.

Those are two totally separate and unrelated things.

If you have no access to employer or student health insurance, see an insurance broker that handles individual health policies. There are lots of different options available and it costs nothing to ask.

For life insurance, you first need to determine if you even NEED it now, and if so, how much coverage for how long? Start by reading the Yahoo Personal Finance section on life insurance.

I would not take it because you would see everyone that didn't take it die, and that would be really devastating. Also, you are taking up room on the earth that people of the future are going to need. There will definitely be a problem of overcrowding depending on how many people were to do this. Right now the number of births everyday is already higher than the number of deaths. It would be very unfair to those just born if we were to live that long.

Once you get your license you will want to get contracted with various companies. I sugegest looking at various FMO's/Wholesalers who can help contract you with them. They tend to offer various trainings and support for you as well.

You will see their ads in magazines like Broker World and Agent's Sales Journal. Call a few of them and see what they have to offer.

Good luck to you.

No, you don't have to live there a certain period of time. Your life insurance can be purchased anywhere – but your health insurance should be from the state you're living in, as coverages vary by state, as do local providers.
